Software built to
earn its keep.

HumBug Digital designs, builds and hosts Android apps, web applications and data tooling for small businesses — shipped by the person who writes the code, not billed by a layer of account managers.

What we do

Four disciplines, one supplier. Most engagements start with one and grow into the others as the thing you built starts paying for itself.

01

Android apps

Native Android built, signed and published to Google Play — store listing, release tracks and updates handled.

02

Web applications

Internal tools, portals and customer-facing apps — the workflow your spreadsheet has outgrown, turned into software.

03

Hosting

Domains, deployment, backups and monitoring on Hetzner. Hosted in Europe by default, in any region you need it.

04

Data analytics

Reporting and visualisation that answers a question — built on the data you already collect and nobody reads.

Live projects

Built, shipped, in use

Four products taken from a problem to a published build. Not case-study theatre — two are on Google Play and two are live on the web right now.

ShiftDrop

Android + web

A shift calendar for people whose week never repeats. Save a shift pattern once as a template, then drop it onto any run of dates — times, location and reminders come with it. Pushes straight into Google Calendar and the device calendar, or exports as ICS for Outlook and Apple Calendar. Published on Google Play and available as a web application, so a rota built at a desk lands on the phone in a pocket.

Why it matters: proof we can take a messy human scheduling problem to a published, maintained Play Store release.

Momentum

The calendar that schedules the drive. Momentum blocks the travel around an appointment automatically, and pinches between day, week and month views so a packed field schedule stays readable on a phone.

Why it matters: mobile-days lost to travel are billable hours. This is what a considered interaction model does to a field team's diary.

Why it matters: a working example of scheduled data collection, summarisation and a public web front end — the same pipeline that turns scattered business data into something a person can act on.

Why it matters: the same rigour goes into every dashboard we hand over — a report nobody has to reverse-engineer before they trust it.
